Had a great time, but got totally skunked. I am not sure if the fish were enjoying the 650 CFS that the river was running at. It usually runs at 75-125 CFS.

Amongst all the hooplah of the inauguration, that does have me really excited, this is a major downer.


It seems that sometime during the night last night, the sprinkler in my bathroom decided to start to leak. and leak, and leak. Until my counter and floor were covered in a beautiful, rust colored water. Yay.

So, for the last two weeks I have been working on an apartment renovation on the upper east side. Now, I don't mind hard work, and it is good to have some form of income with the economy the way it is, but when you are remodeling a second apartment that a couple has purchased to EXPAND their existing apartment, the money at hand kind of well, floors me. Oh, and after today, I have the next two weeks off, since the couple in question is on vacation.
